The tourism and hospitality industries are one of the world's largest sectors. The Indian hospitality industry echoed the same trend and has been major driver towards socio-economic growth, generating employment opportunities.
The major international hotel brands made their presence in country with an estimated investment of $11.41 billion in the Indian hospitality sector according to MA FOI management consultant, set to provide over 4,00,000 jobs. The report states that the hotel sector would need a fresh work force of around 94,000 in the coming years. With all the positive signals, the hospitality industry is gearing up to provide lucrative and the right setting for the well defined hospitality graduates.
The candidate should have passed Pre-University examination in any general or vocational stream conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in Karnataka or any other Board considered equivalent by Mangalore University, with a pass in PUC/XII Std.
The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
